Dear ESL students, we want you to continue to study English. Your instructors and staff are working remotely so that you can keep your ESL classes.

Did you borrow a laptop from the South West Santa Rosa Center this summer? Get it ready to return if you are not taking classes next semester, Fall 2020.

SWSRC personnel will be collecting the laptops the following dates/times:

  • Monday, 08/10 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday, 08/11 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Do you need to borrow a laptop to take our ESL courses this fall?

SWSRC personnel will be distributing laptops the following dates/times:

  • Saturday, 08/15 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Tuesday, 08/18 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday, 08/25 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

ESL LogoThe English as a Second Language Department (ESL) at Santa Rosa Junior College prepares students to reach their academic and vocational goals. Our year-round programs serve approximately 2,500 day and evening students throughout Sonoma County.

New classes begin in August, January, and June. Our students come from many countries. Our services include placement testing, counseling, registration assistance, and academic instruction.

The ESL Department seeks to reflect and serve the needs of a growing and changing student population. It provides access to all college programs and services and prepares students to meet academic, vocational, and personal goals.
